Sea Turtles Nesting Costa Rica – it’s been their beach destination for millions of years! The eggs are then exhumed and the new baby hatclings are released back into the ocean to start their journey and the cycle of life over again.

It has been a busy start to the year up on the hill at Cristal Azul and we cannot believe Semana Santa is upon us!  We have hade so many wonderful families, friends, newlyweds and couples join our guest list and several are already planning their returns to this remote beach in paradise!  Days have been filled with Surf Lessons and Kayaking with Connie & Ingo, lunches on Punta Coyote at Tanga’s or in town at Loma Cara or Café Sante!  Butterfly Farm tours with Mike, coffee and Gwenn’s homemade pastries at Rhodeside Café or a sunset horseback tour with her husband Ed through the hills!  Day trips to Samara for zip lining and Mal Pais to enjoy the long ride along the beach! Sport Fishing with our old friend Rick Ruhlow and trips to the local art museum and gallery in Islita.  Evenings are a treat when Shirley comes up for sunset massages!
